MBA PROGRAMME ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Normally a second class honours degree or above, or an overseas equivalent qualification. Candidates should also have a minimum of two years managerial or professional experience in a full-time position since graduation.
Candidates without an honours degree need to demonstrate a significantly successful managerial experience and may be required to complete a GMAT test obtaining a minimum score of 550.
English Language Equivalence for Middlesex University admissions
English Language Qualifications are usually only regarded as valid if they have been taken within the last two years Students who are either nationals of or have completed a full degree taught and assessed in English in a University in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St Kitts & St Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines or Trinidad and Tobago are not normally required to demonstrate English competence for study, unless professionally required (eg PGCE). In addition, those successfully completed an associate degree; higher diploma and full degree taught and assessed in English in an Anglophone University in Hong Kong are also accepted to have met our English Language requirement. For some UG and PG programmes (eg Teacher Training, Nursing, Social Work) formal qualification in English is always required according to professional requirements. Supplementary tests may sometimes be required.
Discretion may be exercised where appropriate for mature entrants who have considerable work experience in an English-speaking context but it should be noted that the United Kingdom Border Agency does have specific English Language requirements for those who wish to obtain a student visa.
English Language Waivers
» Under exceptional circumstances it is possible that the English Language condition mentioned on the Applicants Conditional Offer Letter is waived off.

» Advice and Counselling to students and their parents on all aspects of studying at Middlesex University
» Spot Admissions in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
» Pre-departure briefings.
» Assistance with Visa Applications.
» Help with securing a place in University’s Halls of Residence.
To take up a degree course at Middlesex University in London, you are required to fill an application form. This can be obtained free from our Offices. All forms should be filled in legibly and carefully, preferably in BLOCK CAPITALS wherever possible. The application should be supported by:
a) Attested copies of all your marksheets from Std. 10/or ‘O’ level onwards to the highest academic qualification. Attestation can be done by a member of Middlesex University staff OR Gazetted Officer OR Notarised Public OR the British Council OR the Principal/Head of last school/college attended). Please note that for admission, original certificates or mark sheets must be shown.
b) Two Reference Letters – Academic reference in case of students with no work experience/one Academic reference and one from previous employer in case of those with work experience.
c) Statement of Purpose: Personal statement is a short essay that the student writes to demonstrate his/her suitability for a particular program. It should cover a brief background of the writer, the reason for choosing a particular program and why in UK, plans for the future etc. The student should preferably write it clearly in their own writing, but they can type out the same. Those applying for MBA should provide brief description of Job Profile. The SOP should be signed.
d) Resume. (Signed copy)
e) Portfolio in the form of web link for students applying for Art and Design courses.
f) One Passport size photograph. (We do not require a passport size photograph anymore)
g) Copy of the Passport: The copy of the front page, the last page of the passport and copy of pages showing Visa stamping / rejection if any.
h) Applications must reach Middlesex University Office in India before the deadline date.
2. Course Deposit: Applicants are required to pay a deposit of 50% of their Tuition Fee in the form of a Bankers Draft made payable to ‘Middlesex University’ in London. The deposit should be sent to Middlesex University Office in India before the deadline date.

3. Refund: The Deposit is non-refundable and will be adjusted against the Tuition Fee if you get a Visa to go to the UK on the basis of our Admission Letter/Offer. The Deposit is refundable only if you are unsuccessful in obtaining a UK Visa.
Students seeking a refund have to provide evidence of letter issued by the Visa Offices. In addition, they should provide a photocopy of the page of the Passport where the refusal stamp has been endorsed. These documents should be sent to the appropriate Middlesex University Office in India.
