Regional Scholarships

Middlesex University will also be offering a Regional Scholarship of £1000 to applicants who have scored high marks in their qualifying exams. The Regional Scholarship is awarded from amongst those who have paid the Initial Deposit, since the Regional Scholarship is limited in number, it is given on a First Come First Serve basis. It is advised that all students pay the initial deposit soon. The Regional Scholarship of £1000 will apply only for the first year of study.

The Criteria for deciding the £1000 Regional Scholarship is as follows:


  Undergraduate Course Applicants

  For students with Humanities subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary  

  66% and above

  For students with Commerce subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary

  70% and above

  For students with Science subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary

  70% and above


  Postgraduate Course Applicants

  For students with BA/B Com /BBM/BBA/BMS/BSc/BCA degree  

  66% and above

  For students with BE – Mechanical, Civil , Instrumentation

  66% and above

  For students with BE / BTech Computer Science,

  Electronics, Communication and IT

  70% and above

  For students with LLB degree

  61% and above

  All students who already hold a Masters Degree or a 2 years PG Diploma from   a reputed Institute

  66% and above


Merit Scholarship

Middlesex University will also be offering a Merit Scholarship of £500 to applicants who have scored high marks in their qualifying exams, from amongst those who have paid the Initial Deposit. The Merit Scholarship is limited in number, it is given on a First Come First Serve basis. It is advised that all students pay the initial deposit soon. The Merit Scholarship of £500 will apply only for the first year of study.

The Criteria for deciding the Additional Merit Award of £500 is as follows:


  Undergraduate Course Applicants

  For students with Humanities subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary  

  60% - 65%

  For students with Commerce subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary

  60% - 69%

  For students with Science subjects in Std 12/Higher Secondary

  60% - 69%


  Postgraduate Course Applicants

   Undergraduate Course Applicants

   For students with Humanities subjects in ‘A’ Levels

   One ‘B’ grades and Two ‘C’ grade

   between 55% - 65%

   For students with Commerce subjects in ‘A’ Levels

   One ‘B’ grades and Two ‘C’ grade

   between 60% - 69%

   For students with Science subjects in ‘A’ Levels

   One ‘B’ grades and Two ‘C’ grade

   between 60% - 69%


  Postgraduate Course Applicants

  For students with BA/B Com /LLB/BSc/BCA degree  

  between 55% and 65%

  For students with BE-IT and Electronics

  between 60% and 69%

  For students with BE – Mechanical, Civil , Instrumentation

  between 55% and 65%

  For students with BE / BTech Computer Science,

  With Electronics and Communication and IT

  between 60% and 69%

  For students with LLB degree

  between 55% and 60%

  All students who already hold a Masters Degree or a 2 years PG Diploma from   a reputed Institute

  between 60% and 66%

PLEASE NOTE: AFTER BEING GIVEN THE £1000 BURSARY STUDENTS WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR ONLY THE REGIONAL AWARD OR THE ADDITIONAL MERIT AWARD AND NOT BOTH.
